It’s Father’s Day! Let’s celebrate a few good men!

Good fathers are a blessing from God!

For those dads who have been there from conception and still answers present with their children, they should be celebrated!

Of course every child should experience life with a good father, but as we all know, life does not always leave every child with their father present daily.

So, with that said, I took a little time to focus on four outstanding fathers I know and admire greatly!

They are God fearing, christian men who find joy in embracing their roles as husbands and dads, all while looking cool!

I present to you my husband Devon with our boys Jagan and Maximus, Evans Chambers with his son Owen, Terrance Jakes with his baby boy August, and Ryan Evans with his son Gavin.

Let’s celebrate them!!!!!

Proverbs 20:7 The righteous who walks in his integrity, blessed are his children after him.

Tired of dull winter skin? Make it happy for Spring!

Hey all of my Spring happy friends!

I know winter was probably rough on your skin as it was on mine, I mean it just sucks out all of the moisture and leaves us looking a hot desert dry mess!!

But, I think I found the solution!

My friend Kena, a genius in all things natural and vegan offered me a sample of her natural skin moisturizer, and I immediately fell in love!

After my shower I applied it to my damp skin and was transformed. My dry skin became luxuriously soft and babylike!

The great thing is it comes in a variety of flavors;

shea, breezy coconut, rose petals, lavender and shea coconut blend.

My most passionate Easter experience to remember!!

via Daily Prompt: Explore

I must share with you my incredible Easter weekend!

I was part of one of the most thrilling experiences of 2018 so far; an interactive indoor / outdoor play re-enacting the last days of Jesus walk on earth, put on by my church.

The authenticity of the experience made it at times extremely sad and overwhelming with  intense inner feelings of gratitude and humility.

Yours truly was an angel who danced in adoration to Jesus at his resurrection. I also danced in the Jerusalem marketplace.

At first I was hesitant to be a part of the dance group but I felt it would be something interesting to explore, a way to push  out of my comfort zone.

It was one of my best decisions this year thus far!

So, enjoy the collage, let me know what you think.

I’d rather be………

As cliche as it may sound, I honestly would rather be on a blinding white sand beach in the Caribbean, Grand Anse beach Grenada to be exact.

You see I am an island girl, Grenadian born, so nostalgia is real right now.

My toes in the warm sand, a chilled virgin pina colada while laying aimlessly under a shady coconut tree, alternating ever so often with the perfectly calm, clean, turquoise water.

So yes, I’d rather be home right now if I had it my way.

Letting GOD lead

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In ALL your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths.

As simple as an instruction this is, it is so hard to follow.

I claimed to trust the LORD, however I wanted to do things my way, according to my understanding.

Of course, my way always crashed in the end, so finally I am trying to do things the way I should have from the start and let GOD lead my life.

I mean wholly and completely lead my life; I seek him for guidance every day, for everything, the big things and the small things that may seem mundane, simply because I just need him like that.

Starting this blog was a big thing for me because I do not want to seem self serving or puffed up, so I sought GOD in prayer and fasting to be secure that  he was leading this project.

I can’t wait to see where GOD will take us on this journey!
