In my last post I asked you to “stay tuned” so now I will continue sharing with you the fabulousness of my homeland Grenada.
On this excursion I visited a tiny island directly of Grenada named Hog Island, and boy was it beautiful!
You see, during my childhood days several families from our village used to take trips to “The Island”.
There was cooking, games, fishing, swimming, exploring and just plain old fun!!
So going back was sort of euphoric and nostalgic for me, and it did not disappoint! It is still a treasure to behold! Nature’s beauty at its best, and bright tropical colors everywhere!
I took pics of the absolutely breathtaking views and scenes.
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say rejoice!
I absolutely have to share this experience with you all!
So, I went back to the Caribbean island where I was born for my summer vacation, and Grenada is completely and utterly beautiful!!
I must say I indulged!
From the mouth watering foods I grew up on, hanging out with friends I knew all my life, and visiting the breath taking natural sites I once took for granted, each time trying to hold on to each moment as they all too quickly transition into memories.
I must say, I was inspired all over again, and this trip solidified why the love of color is innately ingrained in my dna!
There is color EVERYWHERE! Even the houses are painted in almost every shade on the color spectrum, from green to yellow to purple to even hot pink!
As I continue to explore and reignite the love I have for my homeland, I will pause this post and assure you that there will be more to come.
Below is a snapshot of natural island beauty at its best!
Stay tuned……to be continued!

Hello my friends,
Let’s talk about the denim overalls!
This piece takes me all the way back to my childhood, and I’m pretty sure some of you can relate, we each had a pair!
The fun thing is that as a grown up I can own a pair and still rock it well ! Overalls for the most part can be worn casual or you can dress it up if you wish, the choice is yours!
So I totally dressed down my overall. I wore it with white t shirt and bright pink converse. I felt so young and oh so summer cool.
By the way, when I was a child we called this a “farmer brown”.
Check out my pics and enjoy! xoxo
Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Hey all! Missed chatting with you!
So today was an absolute summer day! I was hot and at times sweaty, but since I am an island born chick (Grenadian born) I was loving every moment of it!
I decided that it was time to start rocking my summer white, and I went all the way with it.
My floor sweeping white jersey skirt with my blue cotton shirt (I love shirts) was my outfit of choice.
To add an edge to my outfit, I tied my blue scarf around my head and let the ends flow freely down my shoulders!
You can always expect colors from my outfits, don’t be afraid to try it, be bold!

I must share with you my incredible Easter weekend!
I was part of one of the most thrilling experiences of 2018 so far; an interactive indoor / outdoor play re-enacting the last days of Jesus walk on earth, put on by my church.
The authenticity of the experience made it at times extremely sad and overwhelming with intense inner feelings of gratitude and humility.
Yours truly was an angel who danced in adoration to Jesus at his resurrection. I also danced in the Jerusalem marketplace.
At first I was hesitant to be a part of the dance group but I felt it would be something interesting to explore, a way to push out of my comfort zone.
It was one of my best decisions this year thus far!
So, enjoy the collage, let me know what you think.

I am often intrigued by the different cultures that makes up our world, and the various style of clothing that are considered fashionable.
In some countries or regions fashion is enhanced by jewelry, others by face painting and in other regions by headwraps and scarves.
The fact is, we are all different, but in every culture there is the use of color that makes both traditional and trendy outfits come alive!
Lets face it, colorful expression is one of the common threads that connects us all to each other.
Lets take a trip around the world in color!
